Grants to Preserve and Promote Pocono Area’s Natural and Cultural Assets Awarded

The funded projects work to connect the region’s public lands to their local communities.

Pocono Forest and Waters Grantee Meeting 10/3/2012

The Pennsylvania Environmental Council has awarded seventeen grants totaling $100,000 to communities and organizations that are working to protect and promote the cultural and natural assets in the six counties that make up the Pocono Forest and Waters Conservation Landscape in Northeast Pennsylvania.

New Round of Pocono Forest & Water Conservation Landscape Conservation Assistance Program 2014 Mini-Grant Now Open

PEC has been awarded a PA DCNR grant to administer the 2014 Pocono Forest and Waters CLI Conservation Assistance Grant (CAP) program. This program will provide mini-grants of $2,000 to $10,000 to projects within the Pocono Forest and Waters Conservation Landscape that support and advance the initiative’s goals and priority areas.
